A public-private initiative by USAID, Heifer International, Cargill, and the International Poultry Council, TRANSFORM strengthens value chains to enhance farmer livelihoods and global health security.

Waste to Worth is a circular business initiative converting paddy straw and biomass into upcycled products, targeting a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from biomass burning. By 2030, it aims to partner with 60,000 families in Andhra Pradesh and 200,000 farmers across South India to prevent 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.

Our approach focuses on four key returns: inspiration, financial growth, social benefits, and natural restoration, promoting a future that supports nature and livelihoods.
